Maumee Bay River Fest

It was rainy but still tons of fun!! Here are some photos from the Maumee Bay River Fest that I covered for Toledo.com on Sunday.

Art in the Dark-a Circle 2445 event at the Toledo Museum of Art. 

This was a great event hosted by Circle 2445. People gathered in the atmospheric Cloisters, had drinks and snacks, and then got to go on a tour through the museum's galleries in the dark, but equipped with flashlights so they could see where they were going!

The Bayon in Angkor, Cambodia

The Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple that was built in the 12th century. The faces represent Avalokitesvara- the bodhisattva, or buddhist saint, of compassion.
